The John Grose Group is an Ipswich based motor dealership with a long history of selling motor cars stretching back over 125 years to 1888.
John Grose approached Forward to create their first TV advert for broadcast on the Sky AdSmart platform, aiming to promote the Ford Store facilities and the new 66 registration plate. We were all keen to show off one of Ford’s latest cars, the 2016 Ford Mustang, so set about crafting a script that featured the car and the great facilities available at John Grose’s flagship Ford Store location in Ipswich.
Working to a tight deadline, we arranged clearing the concept through ClearCast first before organising an ambitious shoot at Bentwaters Park in Suffolk, capturing footage of the Mustang from the air in 4K using a drone and from the ground using our MoVi gimbal stabiliser. We also spent some time capturing the cars and facilities available at the dealership itself.
We then handled all of the post production including editing, colour grading, graphics, quality control and submission to ClearCast and AdStream; handing over the finished advert to Sky ready for them to broadcast to a targeted audience via their incredible AdSmart platform a week earlier than anticipated.
The advert aired to an Experian targeted demographic in the Ipswich area via the Sky AdSmart platform in August 2016, and is also being used online across the client’s social media channels.
