Project Background
Once again working with the NHS Wellbeing Service Norfolk and Waveney, we created a film telling the stories of 4 employees and why they love working for the Wellbeing Service.
START PROJECT“We had no experience of producing films and we were keen to create a high quality, engaging film which would support people to access our service. We had no idea just how involved film making is and so having you to guide us through has been invaluable. You have guided us through the process and interpreted what we were looking for. Thank you also for being available when we need to ask questions and supporting us through the process. You have been both energetic and patient!
We could not be more happy with the end result, to have the three separate films plus the one final combined film which meets our brief completely. We hope that we can work with you again in the future!”
The Concept
The Norfolk and Waveney NHS Wellbeing Service provides vital support for people with common mental health and emotional issues, including low mood, depression or stress. They work with a wide range of people to help them to make the necessary changes to improve their wellbeing and quality of life.
Having worked together on several previous projects, the team once again approached Forward to create another film, this time to attract new employees to apply to work for the Wellbeing Service.
We met with the team and discussed their success criteria for the project. As well as demonstrating the diversity of roles available and types of people who already worked for the Wellbeing Service, they were also keen to make the beautiful Norfolk and Suffolk countryside a character in the finished film.
Working remotely via video calls due to the Covid-19 lockdown, we helped the team select a great cast of existing employees to appear in the film, along with some great locations which showcased the best that Norfolk and Suffolk had to offer.
We then undertook a 3 day shoot across multiple locations to capture their stories, and then combined them in the edit to create an engaging short film which has been rolled out across the NHS Wellbeing website and social media.
