The Everlaine are a Norwich based 4 piece rock band. After recording their debut EP ‘The Secret’s Out’, the band approached us to expand their promotional materials by producing a music video.
After an initial consultation, we conceived a number of creative briefs before settling upon producing a stylised, studio based performance video to help showcase the band in action.
Developing this idea further, we decided upon a high impact black and white visual aesthetic which suited the band’s character, but we were also keen to create something that stood out from similar music videos. To this end, we opted to create a lower contrast tonal black and white aesthetic, achieved through careful planning of the studio lighting and finessed with the colour grade during post production.
We also shot, edited and delivered the video in 4K, ensuring it looks striking when viewed across a variety of devices and platforms, and to future proof the band’s investment.
The video is being used to promote the launch of The Everlaine’s latest single across a number of media platforms.
"Tom and his team were a pleasure to work with from concept through to completion of our music video. Tom invested a lot of time and effort in assisting us to identify the perfect venue for the shoot and helped develop our initial vision into an interesting and detailed plan, which enabled an efficient and enjoyable day of filming. We are delighted with the quality, professionalism and care taken over the finished product and we cannot recommend Forward highly enough!"
