The Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Wellbeing Service provides vital support for people with common mental health and emotional issues, including low mood, depression or stress. They work with a wide range of people to help them to make the necessary changes to improve their wellbeing and quality of life.
The Wellbeing service approached Forward to create a series of short films exploring why and how people could access the services they provide.
After meeting with the team to understand their requirements for the project, we suggested the most powerful and authentic way to convey their message would be to let people who had already accessed the service tell their own stories. We created 3 short films featuring 3 prior users of the Wellbeing service in addition to a fourth film which combined their testimonies.
The Wellbeing teams were delighted with the finished films and they have been rolled our across their website and social media.
"We had no experience of producing films and we were keen to create a high quality, engaging film which would support people to access our service. We had no idea just how involved film making is and so having you to guide us through has been invaluable. You have guided us through the process and interpreted what we were looking for. Thank you also for being available when we need to ask questions and supporting us through the process. You have been both energetic and patient!
We could not be more happy with the end result, to have the three separate films plus the one final combined film which meets our brief completely. We hope that we can work with you again in the future!"
